Crockets Hotel

Great location for visiting Newcastle. Away from the centre but under £10 for an uber to the city centre. The cycle route 72 is just up a few steps left of the hotel. The staff and the locals are very friendly and cheerful with a great sense of humour. The food is delicious. We had two different main courses one night. Both served with care and attention to detail at a very reasonable price. My wife had for breakfast eggs Benidict which she said was the best she's had particularly the sauce. Our room was spacious, warm and with everything you need for a short stay. Tynemouth and Whitly Bay are a short drive away and well worth a visit with beaches and lighthouses to enjoy. Great place and area we will visit again.

Nothing bad to say. The Hotel is a good standard and some parts are being upgraded which will make it even better.

Thanks for the hospitality.
